Post-COVID or Long Covid Study In cooperation with Heidemarie Haller from the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany, the Craniosacral Therapy Association (CSTA) is conducting a survey about the use and effectiveness of Craniosacral Therapy on post-COVID symptoms and is asking for your participation. Heidemarie is a psychologist and is conducting research in CST for 10 years. She developed a simple questionnaire that needs only 5 minutes to be filled in. We would be very pleased if you know of anyone who is suffering from Long Covid and would like to contribute to the study. What is Post-COVID?
New symptoms that persist from the acute COVID-19 phase or its treatment,
New symptoms that occurred after the end of the acute phase but are understood to be a result of COVID-19 disease,
Existing symptoms that have led to a new health limitation,
Worsening of an existing underlying health condition.
Frequent Post-COVID symptoms are:
Fatigue: rapid exhaustion with sometimes chronic tiredness and sleep disturbances,
Cardiopulmonary symptoms such as dyspnea, chest pain, palpitations,
Neurocognitive symptoms such as impaired concentration and memory,
Pain syndromes such as limb pain, myalgias, arthralgias, headaches and backaches,
Sensory disorders such as persistent olfactory and gustatory disturbances,
as well as psychological/mental disorders.
