Lulu Ferrand RCST, BCST

I am a registered Craniosacral Therapist and have been practising since qualifying from the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust in London in 2013.

My work has developed considerably over the years, but at the heart of it is a very simple principle: the body has an extraordinary capacity to reorganise when it is given the right conditions and feels safe enough to do so.

I work with people of all ages, from newborn babies through to older adults, supporting a wide range of physical symptoms, nervous system overwhelm and the effects of stress and trauma.

I don't approach a treatment with a predetermined idea of what needs to be fixed. Craniosacral Therapy allows me to listen to the body and follow what we call the inherent treatment plan, allowing the system to show us where it needs support and in what order.

How I came to Craniosacral Therapy

My own introduction to CST came almost by accident. While recovering from a difficult period in my life, a friend gave me a Craniosacral Therapy treatment she had won in a raffle.

I arrived feeling stressed, depleted and lacking in confidence. The change I experienced after that treatment fascinated me and ultimately changed the direction of my life.

In 2011 I began studying Anatomy and Physiology before training in Craniosacral Therapy. I graduated in 2013 and have continued with postgraduate training and clinical development ever since.

More than a decade later, I am still fascinated by what happens when we stop trying to force the body to change and instead begin listening to it.

Qualifications & Experience

I am a Registered Craniosacral Therapist (RCST) and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist (BCST) with over 13 years of clinical experience. My work is trauma-informed, with safety, sensitivity and respect for the body's own pace at the heart of every treatment.

I continue to develop my practice through postgraduate training, ongoing study and the experience gained from working with clients in the treatment room.

Beyond the Treatment Room

My work has also led me to create Zenpath, an online wellbeing platform offering practical support for people who feel overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves or particularly sensitive to the world around them. It brings together much of what I have learnt through years of working with the nervous system, the body and our wider sense of self.
