Out with the old and in with the new

Over the past couple of months we have found relationship issues, particularly within the family, are right at the forefront. It seems that these issues some of which are very old have been deeply lodged in our subconscious where they have remained and accumulated over the years. This can be history from within our lifetime but also historical or ancestral patterns such as war, or upbringing within our lineage and DNA. There is also an impact, emotionally and physically, with the way others have interacted with us, not just families.

So, more and more clients are coming to us for help understanding, coming to terms with, and helping clearing out these old issues that have been reemerging and coming to the surface.

Just like the human body releasing and adjusting and finding a new path so too is the world.

This is a time of tremendous change in our world and with it a time of evolution for mankind. While it may seem turbulent and confusing at times, there is a new and very beautiful world emerging. Be in no doubt about that. As we move through to this new world we cannot take our old baggage with us. If it is reemerging, it is because it needs to be cleared out.

So just as the world is having a shake-up so too are we. The 'stuff' we gathered through life over time becomes like an overloaded suitcase of 'baggage' which starts to weigh us down. This suitcase needs to be cleared out periodically. If we have not taken the time to mindfully clear it out from time to time, it will remind us through challenging emotions or physical symptoms that it is there and needs to be addressed. We have choices. We can either address this sort of thing with healthful holistic methods, or we can mask it with other less healthful life choices.

All our therapists are reporting a surge in these relationship/family matters and thankfully we have some incredibly effective methods to help with you clear out and move forward.

Change is never easy, but there is no growth in easy. We are all here to learn and grow, and we only do that through a certain amount of challenge. Challenge makes us question and questioning helps us to grow. It is important to question everything, even what we think we believe in. There is light and shade in all things. Our universe is forever seeking for balance between the two and so must we.

So this is our advice...Embrace what comes. Don't shy away from emotion. Replace fear with curiosity. Be open to healing and change. Ask for help. None of us need to struggle alone. And remember, everyone is simply doing the best they can with what they have and what they 'know', including ourselves. Be kind to yourself. We are all the sum of our lives experiences.

The old adage of 'you can't change others, you can only change yourself' is one of the most accurate and powerful truths for humans. When you choose to 'do the work' on yourself, those connected to you, energetically, also feel the shift and remarkable things, often that you might never have imagined, can occur...for the better.

First, we must connect to the love and light within our hearts. See a previous blog on 'A clear energy field'. If we work on self love, all our relationships are a reflection of our relationship with ourselves.

The Winter Solstice or the New Year, whichever you prefer - time for a change; time to let these patterns and beliefs go; time to start afresh. What better time than now?
